To celebrate 40 years of their QuickSnap camera, Fujifilm asked Emily Scarlett Romain to take them on an adventure for their new campaign. Shot across one day in the great outdoors, the images burst with summer.
Emily invites you to get stuck in as one of the friend group, and with it highlights the beauty of the QuickSnap Active is that it’s adventure-proof; a reminder that we don’t need to be precious to make great photography and lasting memories.
The images are part of the campaign film ‘Taken Back’, which narrates the central character looking back at the printed photographs in her car. It was a special project for Emily, who captures and reflects on her own life in the same way. In a world of instant viewing and over saturation, it honours the space between the moment and the captured.
