Working on the cover with Lancey was great, he was such a pleasure to shoot. I showed him my Mamiya 6x7, and I really wanted to translate the multifaceted influences of his sound and eclectic taste in fashion through the Cover story.

We both share a love for timeless, punchy black and white analogue aesthetics, reminiscent of archival punk imagery. I wanted to embody that feeling, with subtle nods to his new romantic style, rooted in afrocentricity.

We’re both 30, so it was great to share space - talking about our influences in music, growing up in London and how transitioning out of your 20s creates space to really trust your artistic vision. Lots of fun, and big thanks to Susie and Miles for having me.
