On Running trusted James with something rare: genuine creative freedom.

Commissioned to promote their Global Track Nights events, James developed his own technique, a specific camera movement paired with long exposure, to conjure the sensation of full-throttle track action entirely within a studio. Shot completely in camera, without the need for post production tricks, the resulting images feel kinetic and alive.

Simple to look at, but deeply nuanced in execution. Much like track running itself.
