Jack photographed the UK Hobby Horse Championships at an equestrian centre near Leighton Buzzard, where 40 young competitors took to the arena with total commitment.

The sport is exactly what it sounds like: children hopping over show jumps whilst riding stick horses. Between heats, the competitors tenderly groomed their hobby horse's hair and swapped rides, each horse complete with its own name, birthday and favourite snack.
