Built from an existing relationship with Langland, Lewis Khan was commissioned on a dream job for any photographer. Over the course of a year he was asked to seek out stories and people that represented the breadth of Langland's healthcare.

It was a mission that took him into the lives of people who truly make our society - families living uninhibited in their homes, cancer patients, HIV wards, disabled football teams, young mums and babies. The list goes on. Within each image, though, their remains a common thread: a rich softness that tugs at our shared humanity. It could be any of us.
