One strand of Dove’s award-winning self-esteem project, Sophie’s campaign, Reverse Selfie, splices portraits of young girls aged 11 upwards before and after retouching. Aimed at parents and teachers, the images highlight the dangers of extreme editing apps for young people’s mental health and wellbeing.
