For Origin Energy’s image rebrand, commissioned via Houston Group, Alexandrena was brought on to create a large-scale lifestyle image library that felt genuinely full of life. Shot over four intensive days across five locations, the brief required speed, sensitivity and an ability to capture authentic human moments without them feeling staged.

Alexandrena’s strength lies in building immediate rapport with talent, allowing scenes to unfold naturally even within a fast-paced production. Her intuitive direction, combined with a warm, cinematic visual style, resulted in hundreds of final images that feel lived-in, optimistic and emotionally grounded. Subtle cues of technology and electricity use are woven seamlessly into everyday scenes: light sources, appliances and moments of connection quietly powered in the background, ensuring the imagery reflects modern energy use without ever overshadowing the human story at its centre.
